printing referrals for clients

Shoppers Drug Mart does a lovely job of printing Sandstrom images. Take images on a CD, not DVD.

The best way to order is online. Your prints will be made in their lab in Calgary....with real ink and photo paper. You can place the order without opening a user account, logging on, etc. Just select "Prints" from the tabs above. Don't have to pay online either. You will pay when you pick them up at the nearest Shoppers to you. Many people prefer this. They give fast service. I ordered some images online and they were here in Okotoks two days later! Cheap too!

I discovered a wonderful canvas printer if you are near Bragg Creek. Highly professional workmanship.

Take the envelope/DVD when you take in and pick up your prints. I have typed permission to use images for personal use, my initials signed nearby. They may ask to see proof that you have permission to print professional images. You can also have them check this info on my website. If you have a problem, have them phone me immediately.

Printing photographs is a highly subjective art. Every time you have prints made, expect them to differ slightly in lightness/darkness and contrast. Even sepia color can differ from one print to the next.

If you are unhappy with the prints, never be afraid to say so. Printers will generally reprint if you are not satisfied. If you like the way a picture you already have looks, you can give this to the printer and ask them to match it as close as possible..

They cannot be used for contests, sold, or given away for any commercial or donation purposes without my written permission. Images Carolyn has used to create art pictures with (you will have signed a model release), you will have no rights to whatsoever. She may give you the file for personal printing only.
